Courtney Mickman
Immigration Assistant

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Ms. Mickman pursued a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology at The George Washington University, in Washington, DC. She joined The Employment Law Group as an Immigration Intern in May of 2006. While she pursued her degree at GWU, she also worked as a Research Assistant in the Sociology Department for a study on gender discrimination in the workplace during the hiring process. In addition, she interned from January 2006-May 2006 at Citizens Against Government Waste and from January 2008 through March 2008, at the Greater Washington Urban League. Upon her graduation from GWU in May 2008, Ms. Mickman became a full-time employee at The Employment Law Group. She plans to attend law school and pursue a career in the legal field, particularly within the realm of Civil Rights law.
